My Obsession with the Tone It Up Girls

Tuesday, February 4, 2014

If you aren't on the Tone It Up bandwagon, you definitely should be.
I can't get enough of these girls, for more reasons than one.

First of all, they have a cute show on Bravo about their company that has been growing like crazy over the past year. They are fitness experts and have grown this community of like minded girls.
They have 2 workout DVDs, a nutrition plan and a great website that anyone can join.
I mean seriously, how cute are they. They have great bods and their workouts are for the everyday girl. Nothing crazy, just effective, simple routines that you can do anywhere with a set of hand weights.

These 2 girls started as friends who met in the gym, loved fitness and became inseparable and from that, they started making these Youtube videos of easy, at home workouts that they shot on the beach in SoCal. Now, they run this huge blog/website where they have a ton of recipes, workout videos, newsletters, etc.

I bought their second workout DVD, Beach Babe, and I'm hooked. It has 9 different workout videos and they can all be done at home and are about 20-30 minutes each, focusing on different things. They shot this one in Maui and I can't help but wish I was also on the beach doing my workout while I go through this video.

The nutrition plan is full of cleanses, a 5 and 7 day jump start, meal plans and all kinds of fitness and nutrition tips. This program is great for someone who wants something low key, easy to follow and simple. There are no special things you have to buy, just clean eating and fun workouts. Simple. Effective.

I just can't get over how great this program is and how easy it is to relate to these girls. They aren't body builders and they aren't crazy gym rats, they just have a very simple mindset that we should be taking care of the one body we are given. They even talk about fun and low cal cocktails! They don't disregard letting loose every once in a while and having a good time.

If you haven't checked out their site and their program, I highly recommend it. It is a great kick start program, or great for someone just looking to find something that they can stick to that isn't a "diet".
